Con riding Conderosa Rassim who carried 94.5 kg crossed the finish line FIRST at Coolamon on the 22/7/2012 in the 80klm in a scorching time of 3hr23min averaging nearly 25klms per hour for the ride with great parameters and INCREDABLE Heart rates–29/37/and finished with38.
Unfortunately his derided nemesis rose its ugly head (grease heal) caused him to be very slightly sore in final trot out resulting a V/O.
Megan and her band of helpers managed a large number of riders throughout (around 130 included) efficiently, friendly and composed!!!!! presenting us with a new course to challenge us resulting in some spectacular ride times making me think it could be an interesting choice for a FEI Championship ride to be held ????
Steve the head vet in our instance identified issues with shoeing and strapping that required addressing. which was very helpful and appreciated.
I would like to thank the owners of the motel Allonville on the outskirts of Wagga Wagga, NSW who had the facilities for our horses as we were stuck there till Wednesday because of gearbox trouble in our near new truck. It was a tough weekend for us I can tell you!!!! but that’s Endurance riding.
