It was a tough ride for us as it took 9hr16min to complete the 80km.
It rained the day before which softened the track a bit but down in the gullies it was hot and very humid and with a few hills included we were at a very steady pace throughout.
Nelson was amazing showing toughness and persistence to finish with a 43 heart rate and a great book.
All in all it was a very scenic , well marked and testing ride. I intend to go back next year.
The organisers did a fantastic job with prizes for everyone who competed as well as the Winners, no one missed out.
