Conderosa Zaheera ridden by Con Bouzianis WIN’S OUTRIGHT 80 km and BEST CONDITION at Gundagai on 29/04/2018 in a Time of 4hr17min carrying 99.2k.
The first leg averaged just over 20 km per hour after a hard fought battle at the front.
Starting the second leg with a distinct margin my stirrup broke forcing me to return to base and change saddles causing a loss of about 20 mins.
This changed everything as losing the lead and still having the biggest climb of the ride ahead was challenging.
Several riders attempted to take the lead in the final 20 kms but were unable as Conderosa Zaheera repelled these challenges with ease giving me a euphoric feeling that will keep me buzzing for a month.
I can’t describe the pleasure I get when I can win in this fashion considering the extra weight Conderosa Zaheera has to carry over the distance in beating all the middle and lightweight riders in the same race.
This reaffirms in my mind that my bloodlines are second to none and my horses continue to excel and carry the Conderosa Flag with distinction.
