Congratulations to all the competitors that completed the 2016 Tom Quilty Gold Cup 160km on the 07/10/2016 and commiserations to those that were unable to finish vetting through.
It was very pleasing for us at Conderosa as the horses that finished 2nd, Blake’s Heaven Bombora and 7th, Manet Ibn Rashan are very closely related.
Shakir Ibn Rashan our principle stallion is the sire of Blake’s Heaven Bombora and half brother to Manet Ibn Rashan.
Lauralyn Notorious, the horse that Won the Tom Quilty, shares the Stallion Sherif in it’s tail female line as does Blake’s Heaven Bombora
Most of my brood mares have Sherif blood through his daughter Shushan and his son Mievish which has been crossed so it’s on both lines of their pedigree.
It’s amazing when you think of the few Sherif stock that have breed on and their collective success.
Lauralyn Notorious Sire, Princeton is probable one of the most sort after bloodline in the UAE , because of his progeny’s success.
I have 3 lovely Princeton granddaughter’s that are to be covered by my stallion Shakir Ibn Rashan this season.
I believe that bloodlines are essential when trying to breed Champion Stock.
