Con Bouzianis official representative of the Helenic Equestrian Federation (GRE-NF) achieves historic result as this is the first Endurance FEI International Race WON by a GREEK rider.
Conderosa Endurance Stud is proud to acknowledge the authorisation of Mr. Con Bouzianis and Mr Tom Bouzianis as Official Representatives of the Hellenic Equestrian Federation (GRE-NF)http://www.hef.gr.
Effective as of March 02, 2011 and as per FEI rules and its acknowledgement, Con and Tom have been authorised by the Hellenic Equestrian Federation to represent Greece in all International Events.
Con riding Conderosa Ozzie to WIN ” LINE HONOURS “ in the FEI 80km* in 4hr 15min at Endurance FEI International Race at Oberon, NSW. on the 25th April 2011. This is the first ever Endurance FEI International Race won by a Greek rider.
Mr Con and Tom Bouzianis arrived in Australia in 1956 as young kids with their parents. As most Greeks at the time are aware times where difficult and challenging for all new migrants. Nevertheless with the support of their family and their own determination to succeed they have managed to overcome all challenges and become successful businessmen.
That determination to succeed culminated in the establishment of Conderosa Endurance Stud and their current high success rate in the Equestrian sport of Endurance Riding, currently the fastest growing FEI Equine sport in the world.
Conderosa Endurance Stud is situated on 405 acres at the historic village of Mulgoa NSW at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Sydney side of the Nepean river. This landscape is the ideal training grounds for our horses.
The stud was established in 1990 with the aim to maintain the characteristics of the Arabian horse of Antiquity, (War Horse). Their Beauty, Structure, Durability, Intelligence and good will towards man is renowned. We keep approximately 40 horses at any one time.
In Mr Con Bouzianis own words; “There is no tolerance of bad temperament within our herd. My belief is that to achieve quality this is of the utmost importance for any stud. My brother Tom and I both compete in Endurance at the highest level of the sport with our horses as we think we have some of the best endurance bloodlines in the world.”
